Jerry Cooper
Jerry joined Eddington in October 2008 having spent 2 years as Head of Due Diligence at Pragma Wealth Management, a multi-family office fund of funds. Prior to this Jerry was at Schroders Investment Management for seven years, the first four of which were spent in traditional long only asset management in an internal operational audit and control role followed by three years in alternative investments. He also previously worked at the Bank of New York and UBS. Jerry has a degree in Psychology and an MBA from London University.
Apurva Patel, Fund Administrator
Apurva joined Eddington Capital Management as Fund Administrator in November 2007. He started his financial career in 2005, working as a Finance Assistant for Unitrust Protection Services Ltd.
Apurva holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Business from the University of Durham, St Aidan's College.
Duggie Hawkins, Analyst
Duggie joined Eddington Capital in November 2007. He graduated from Loughborough University with a Second class degree in Mathematics and Management. This is Duggie's first role in the financial services industry.
Alexander Ahari, Fund Manager
Alexander began his career in 1999 with a portfolio administration role at the private client broker, Gerrard. He joined Attica Asset Management in 2001 as a Fund Manager's Assistant, working closely with Glenn Baggley.
He joined Eddington Capital Management as a Hedge Fund Analyst in July 2003.
Patrick Chrimes, Chief Operating Officer
Patrick is responsible for all finance and compliance issues. A chartered accountant, he has worked in the financial services sector for over 30 years, most recently as Finance Director and Compliance Officer of Magus Capital. Prior to that he was Finance and Administration Director at Lazard Brothers Asset Management.
Polly Lavelle, Marketing Assistant
Polly began her financial career at Eddington Capital Management joining the marketing department in April 2007. Prior to this she worked as an actress in various film and theatre productions.
Polly holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Drama and English from Birmingham University.
Katie Partridge, Director of Marketing and Client Relations
Katie is responsible for marketing and client relations. She started her financial career in 2001 with an internship at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, where she worked with the German and Spanish teams, before moving to UK and Middle East wealth management at CSFB (Europe) Ltd in 2002.
Katie has experience dealing with high net worth individuals and institutional investors from across the world. She holds a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Economics and International Politics.
Richard Sharman, Senior Fund Manager
Richard joined EFG Asset Management in 2000, and worked there as an Investment Analyst, assisting in the management of the firm's range of funds of hedge funds, until 2003. He had previously worked at NatWest Stockbrokers in London.
Richard holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in French from King's College, University of London.
Glenn Baggley, Chief Executive Officer
Glenn began his financial career with Bita Plus Consultants where he led a team of computer programmers and research professionals in the development of risk control, optimization and portfolio management software.
In 1997 he joined Quaestor Investment Management, a leading provider of global market-neutral equity hedge funds to institutional and professional investors. In 2000 he moved to Attica Asset Management, the London based multi manager, as Managing Director of the Alternative Products Division, where he built and managed a successful fund of hedge funds business, raising $200m of alternative assets.
Glenn holds a 1st Class Honours BSc in Astrophysics from Newcastle University and a D. Phil in Astrophysics from St. John's College, Oxford University. He has also conducted research in Astrophysics at Durham University and Nuclear Physics at The Daresbury Laboratory.
Alex Allen, Chief Investment Officer
Alex began his career at Barclay's Bank in Paris where he was seconded for a one year placement in 1994. This was followed by an internship program at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management.
Alex joined EFG Asset Management in 1997 as a hedge fund analyst, gaining exposure to all analyst disciplines. In 1999 he became the fund manager for EFG's hedge fund range. During Alex's tenure the fund range increased from one to five, and assets under management increased from $13m to in excess of $110m. Alex held a seat on EFG's Asset Allocation Committee, overseeing both tactical and strategic capital allocation across alternative and traditional asset classes.
Alex holds a 2:1 BSc (Joint Honours) in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath.
